Neighborhoods on the north side
The north side, sometimes known as “Chilliwack Proper Village West,” encompasses the villages of Camp River, Chilliwack Mountain, Downtown Chilliwack, East Chilliwack, Fairfield Island, Rosedale, and Popkum and extends from the Trans-Canada Highway in the south to the Fraser River in the north. Downtown Chilliwack is the city’s historical urban core. There are several cultural attractions, including the Chilliwack Coliseum, the Chilliwack Cultural Centre, and the Eagle Landing Shopping Centre, as well as important government facilities, including city hall, FVRD offices, and the Provincial Court of British Columbia.

Neighbourhoods on the south side
Atchelitz, Cultus Lake Park, Greendale, Promontory Heights, Ryder Lake, Sardis, Vedder Crossing, and Yarrow are located on the south side. Sardis is the south side’s urban core and a major retail location.
